pins and needles

pins and needles는 앞에 붙는 동사나 전치사에 따라 2가지의 뜻을 가지고 있습니다.

 

have pins and needles (손발이) 저리다

 

- I have pins and needles when I sit cross-legged for a long time.

- sit cross-legged 양반다리로 앉다

- 저림은 numbness 라고 표현하기도 합니다.

- my feet feel numb 발이 얼얼합니다.

 

on pins and needles 초조하여; 안달하여; 조마조마하여

- blow는 보통 `불다` 등의 뜻으로 많이 아는데요 여기서는 `망치다`의 의미로 쓰였답니다.
